"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."
Anais Nin

In my practice as a homeopath and holistic practitioner I use homeopathic remedies, flower, gem and environmental essences, herbal tinctures and the consultation itself to facilitate the healing process.
Remedies and essences are safe, non-toxic, environmentally friendly and non-addictive.

Homeopathy is based on the ancient principal of like cures like and is a highly effective, holistic system of healing, suitable for any body of any age.
Homeopathy recognises that the physical body and the psychological and spiritual aspects of a person are all connected and affect each other. It treats a client as an individual and understands symptoms to be the body's way of alerting us to the presence of underlying dis-ease.
Homeopathy's goal is not simply to remove symptoms but to treat the reason why they are there in the first place, however, along with essences and herbal tinctures it can help to relieve distressing symptoms while the underlying disease is being treated.

The remedies used are a highly diluted, specially potentised form of energy medicine.
They are drawn from the plant, mineral and animal worlds and they become homeopathic when chosen to match the energy state of a client.

Flower, gem and environmental essences are a form of profoundly healing, vibrational medicine. I usually work with Baileys Flower Essences, Alaskan Flower, Gem and Environmental Essences, Australian Bush Flower Essences and Melissa Assilem's Greek Essences. They are lovely to work with and can be of special benefit to those who are very sensitive. I also use them when working with predominantly emotional or spiritual issues or during major transitions in life.

I like to use herbal tinctures when specific organs of the body are weak or under undue stress and need extra help and support in their healing.

People often ask me what they can expect from taking remedies and essences. As always, with holistic treatment, the response, and the length of time needed for treatment, will be as individual as each client.

Through my own experiences of healing and witnessing those of others I have come to trust that whatever response we have to treatment is exactly what is needed in that moment and it always carries the potential to lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves.

Sometimes the healing process can be very subtle and nothing much seems to happen - it's only when we go over things in the next session that any changes become apparent. Sometimes emotional or physical release may be experienced - you might find yourself crying when you haven't been able to cry before or you may find you get a cold as your body has a physical clear out.

Many people find that they have a significant improvement in their physical health, along with more energy, more enthusiasm and a passion for life that had been missing before.

I believe that all bodies are intelligent and self-healing and that deep down we already know what we need to heal. It's my job to help you access that inner knowing

Self-healing, however is not about becoming perfect and never feeling sad or angry or getting ill again but about learning to pay more attention to ourselves, to tune in to and respect our own body's rhythms and responses. It is about re-learning the language of symptoms and learning to work with the body rather than against it, allowing the underlying cause of disease to be treated, thus inviting improved quality of life, increased vitality and a deep sense of inner balance and well-being.
